The General Cargo Carrier Celine backing into Pier 27 This morning. Built in 2001, She comes in at 6300DWT, and is 129m long. She is Owned and managed by Enzian Ship Management of Zurich, Switzerland, and is Swiss Registered.
Equipped with two 60ton Cranes, She is Equipped for Heavy lift, can carry 560TEU, or Bulk products in her hold. She was last in Poland, and appears laden, so I suspect she has another load of rails for CN.
Jumbo Shipping’s Heavy lift vessel FairLift arrived this morning at Pier 30. I suspect she is discharging cargo, as their was nothing obvious for her to pick up on the pier. (Though there were some Mammoet heavy transport chassis on the pier the other day.)
Jumbo Shipping is also a regular caller in Halifax, (Past Visits) however they have dropped off since CAT shut the EMD plant in London ONT, and locomotives are no longer exported.

2 Export Locomotives arrived on Flatcars to the Rockingham Yard yesterday. The units are painted for Vale and appear to be destined for a mine in Brazil. As they lack trucks, The Units are likley bound for a Narrow Gague Route.

Both ISI’s Components, and Jumbo Shipping are regular callers in Halifax – Though lately heavy lift operations Have been occurring At Halterm – Including the Locomotive shipments, which occurred at Pier 9 in Previous years.
The Chemical Products Tanker Sakarya is also Due at Pier 9 this afternoon. Wilson’s Fuels has a Spout there to offload to their tank farm on Barrington Street.
Jumbo Spirit is a g500 Class Heavy lift vessel. She features a 250t Crane (aft) and a 250t Derrick forward. The locomotive lift appears to be accomplished with only the crane.
She is Scheduled to sail at 1900 tonight.

“These units are GT38ACe, build at EMD London for PTKA Sumatra in Indonesia. Six units have been ordered and from what I gather all are finished and in-transit.

The Dockwise vessel TALISMAN arrived this morning and tied up at Pier 30/31.
She had Cargo On deck, but it was not clear through the fog what it was. She appers to have rigging to load cargo, however is otherwise empty. AIS Data lists her final destination as MULGRAVE (Located in the Straight of Canso, Across from Port Hawksbury) on the 25th.
UPDATE (06/30): The Deep Panuke Project Floating Production Platform was built offshore and delivered this week. Talisman is likely here to remove deck lashings and get ready for her next job.
