The C/S Durable joined the vessels at Pier 9. A purpose built cable ship, she was constructed in 2002 as Tyco Durable. She is still owned by Tyco Global Networks, and is based out of Baltimore.

Enna with Cable Gear
The General Cargo Ship Enna arrived a few weeks ago and rafted up alongside Siem Dorado at pier 9. Enna was carrying a load of cable handling equipment which will be installed on board the Siem Dorado.
Another load of Salt
Baie St Paul arrived this afternoon from the Magdline islands with another load of salt. This is the third of 4 loads to deposited on Pier 9.
Siem Dorado at Pier 9
Siem Dorado is tied up at Pier 9. the Offshore construction vessel is at the cable terminal, and looks to be outfitting for a cable job. You can see the stern has added cable handling equipment.
There is no active coasting trade application open, so the job is not likely in Canadian Waters.
Siem is the Parent of Dartmouth based Secunda Marine.
Northstar Challenger to Pier 9
Northstar Challenger arrived in Halifax today and tied up at Pier 9. The 92′ work boat/research vessel is owned by Northstar Marine of New Jersey.
The ship arrived from Cape Cod, via Rockland Maine.
Thorco Liva for Cable Tanks
Thorco Liva returned to pier 9 today to load cable tanks. Thorco vessels are somewhat regular callers to Pier 9 to have cable tanks loaded.
Acadia Desgagnes comes back to Canada
The Acadia Desgagnes returned to Halifax for reflagging to Canada. Over the summer, the ship works out of Quebec to resupply arctic communities. it then finds work on the international market in winter and is reflagged in Barbados with an international Crew.
She stopped in Halifax for the same reason since she was acquired in 2017. I missed her last year, but caught her in 2019 and 2018
Mersey Phoenix at Pier 9
The Factory ship trawler Mersey Phoenix tied up at pier 9 last week for what looks to be a work period. The ship spends much of its time fishing for shrimp in Northern waters around Baffin island.
Fleetmate Mersey Venture was at Pier 9 in December, taking on supplies while waiting out bad weather.
Singelgracht Towed in.
Singelgracht was towed into port this Evening by Siem Commander, and tied up at Pier 9. Siem Commander sailed early this morning to rendezvous with the ship which was sailing from Zeebruges, Belgium for Philadelphia. It looks to have gotten into trouble off the Nova Scotia Coast.
Siem Commander had be laid up at COVE. You can see the tow line tailing behind in the photo Below.
UPDATE: Singelgracht at Pier 9 earlier today (jan 24th). There was no activity noted around the ship.
CSL Tarantau at Pier 9
CSL Tarantau arrived at Pier 9 today for some work. A crane and an assortment of vehicles was noticed by the accommodation block, and the self unloading arm is swung out of the way. The ship is not appearing on AIS, suggesting it is partially powered down.
CSL Tarantau was is a Panamax Trilium Class vessel, built as Balto for Klaveness to operate in the CSL America’s International pool. in 2015, Klaveness sold its ships to pool Partners CSL and Algoma.
