The Svitzer tugs Svitzer Nerthus and Svitzer Njal Sailed this morning bound or Milne Inlet on Bafin Island. They arrived in June, and are to work a contract for the new Iron Ore mine there.

interestingly, they didn’t take Canadian names.  Nerthus is the Germanic Goddess of Fertility, hailing from an island in Denmark. Njal refers to a Character from an Icelandic Saga written in the late 1200’s.
