The Alliance Begins Service – AL6 Arrived today.

The Alliance made its first call of the AL6 Service today with the Arrival of the K-Line Ship Brevik Bridge to Fairview Cove. The AL 6 is a new service for the Alliance, and for Halifax. It roughly mirrors the current ZIM and Melfi Services that call on Halifax, though those both service the Caribbean, which this does not. The routing is Livorno – La Spezia – Genoa – Fos – Barcelona – Valencia – Salerno – Halifax – New York – Norfolk – Savannah – Salerno – Valencia – Livorno

AL 6 looks to be exclusively served by the K-Line Service. Other ships serving this route include Budapest Bridge, Berlin Bridge, Bilbao Bridge, and Brotonne Bridge

 

The Alliances Other New services Start soon. EC 5 makes its first stop May 6 with the Ningbo Express, which Started the trip April 8th.This is a mixed pool, with ships coming from all partners.

AL1 is served by Yang-ming Vessels, and Begins April 23 with YM Essence, YM Express and YM Evolution and YM Enlightenment. the PA1 Service it replaces ends on May 25th with a call by NYK Nebula
