It is being reported that Sub-Lt. Jeffrey Delisle entered a guilty plea to spy charges. I suspect a plea deal was made with the crown that will see Delisle serve jail time, and the crown can keep secret what he told the forign entity.
UPDATE: CTV News is reporting that Delisile was Paid $3000/month to supply information to the Russian Inteligence Service.
HMCS Charlottetown Arrived back home sometime last night and tied up at Shearwater. today at 10am she made her return after 9 months to the dockyard.
One can imageine that a night spent at shearwater must have been like christmass eve for the crew.

HMCS Charlottetown was Initially deployed under Operation Metric,as part of the NATO-led Operation Active Endeavour (OAE) – the Mission of Libya. At the end of April 2012, the ship transited through the Suez Canal and joined Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150).Operation Artemis is the Canadian Forces’ participation in maritime security and counter-terrorism operations in the Arabian Sea region with CTF-150. HMCS Regina, replaced HMCS Charlottetown, to continue Canada’s commitment to Operation Artemis

Our contribution to maritime security and counter- terrorism operations plays a key role in the prosperity of our country,” said Minister MacKay. “Our Government is incredibly proud of the officers and crew of HMCS Charlottetown and thank the families and friends of all those returning today for sacrifices alongside their loved ones.”
“It is an amazing day. I am so proud of my ship’s company,” says Commander Wade Carter, the Commanding Officer of HMCS Charlottetown. “They have worked so hard for so long. And now, finally, to see them reunite with loved ones, is beyond words. I cannot describe how overjoyed I am for them… for me, when you include last fall, it needs to be understood that this crew has effectively been deployed for 10 of the last 12 months. An amazing effort. An effort that could not have been accomplished without the support of strong Navy families. I salute them all. It has been an absolute privilege to be their Captain.”
The US Coast Guard is taking part in Operation Nanook. The USCG sea going buoy tender USCGC Juniper arrived in Halifax today to take part.
Danish forces are reportedly also taking part.

The RCN Ship HMCS Iroquois was tied up on the waterfront this weekend and was open for tours.

HMCS Ville De Quebec, USS De Wert and USS Hurricane departed this morning for a 10 week great lakes Tour. HMCS Moncton and HMCS Summerside will also be in the Lakes this Summer, and will appear at a few dates. The Ships will return to Halifax in October, where they ill likely be open to the public.

War of 1812 Commemorations, and Tallships Events will coincide with a US Navy Visit.
The USS De Wert, a U.S. Navy Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigate, is one of a flotilla of U.S. and Canadian ships that will be touring the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Seaway System this summer from July 20 through September 21 in recognition of the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812. In addition to the USS De Wert the ships scheduled to participate in the tour include the coastal patrol boat USS Hurricane, and the Canadian Navy’s Halifax-class frigate HMCS Ville de Quebec.
The Tour kicks off July 20th in Halifax, and then heads to quebec, and around the Great Lakes.
HMCS Fredericton was moved this past Saturday Morning to the Machine Shop Wharf. This signals the end of the major structural work being complete, and the fitting out of addtional systems will now take place.
The Graving Dock will Next be Occupied by HMCS Montreal.
HMCS Halifax Completed its work period at Halifax Shipyard, and was moved back to the dockyard.
There she will undergo Addtional testing, and refitting of weapon systems, prior to sea and Operational trials.
HMCS Fredricton, Currently in the graving dock will likely take Halifax’s place, Making room for HMCS Montreal.
Each refit is expected to take 18 Months The Halifax Based ships are scheduled as Follows:
