Arrived in Halifax today and is tied up at Pier 24. Groupe Ocean usually operates in the St Lawrence around Quebec – so she is possibly bound for the Scotia Dock, as it is an Irving Built Tug. (same design as the Atlantic Oak, and Larch.
UPDATE: She’s Brand new from the East Isle Shipyard in PEI, in Town for trials.

Training exercise off McNabs Island could cause stir
Four to six coast guard vessels of various types and a helicopter will be involved in the search and rescue exercise. They will be simulating a search for a lifeboat and possibly looking for people in the water. The exercise will also involve lifting people out of the water.
Rolls-Royce supply vessel for Canada
Atlantic Towing Limited (Canada) has entered a long term charter with the Canadian oil and gas company EnCana Corporation for the vessel which will be built at the Halifax Shipyard in Nova Scotia. It will operate in the Deep Panuk field off the Canadian east coast.
