Mol Partner sits at anchor in the basin waiting for a birth to free up at Fairview Cove.
Despite today being a holiday, the ships were stacking up at Fairview cove. Sunday night brought the arrival of YM Express to the west birth. She Sailed Monday morning, and was replaced by Budapest Bridge, while the east birth was taken up by Atlantic Sea, both arriving early morning. When Budapest Bridge sailed late afternoon, MOL Partner was finally able to take up her spot Mol Partner is currently scheduled to sail just after midnight, Atlantic Sea is due to depart Tuesday afternoon, having had her ro-ro decks worked Monday, and her containers Tuesday.
the YM Modesty (above) Entered the basin this morning around 11am to tie up at Fairview cove. Once clear of the narrows, the Algoma Integrity (below) Sailed outbound for Baltimore from National Gypsum.

With the Arrival of the Largest Container ship todate, a tall ship at anchor, and A US Aircraft carrier all showing up in recent days, its easy to forget other actions still happen daily in the port.

YM Movement Is Today’s Caller at Fairview cove. I caught her waiting to tie up on her May 21st stop over. Unlike other YM Vessels so far, Shes running on the EC5 Service, and is the first Yang-Ming vessel to make a repeat call (now on the return trip)
YM Enlightenment made the 4th call for Yang Ming last night, and tied up at Fairview cove. Once she was finished at the terminal she went to anchor in the basin to wait for weather to improve. She’s scheduled to sail this morning at 11:30
The third Call for Yang-Ming Happened today, and The Arrival was during Daylight hours. The first 2 calls to Fairview Cove had arrivals after dark, and departures before 8am. The YM Evolution is the third call on The Alliance’s AL1 Service, which is currently served by all Yang Ming vessels.
YM Essence Sailed early this morning concluding the first call for the Alliances AL1 Service. AL1 is served exclusively by Yang-ming Vessels, and also will have calls from YM Express, YM Evolution and YM Enlightenment.
The AL 1 Service looks to mirror the transatlantic portion of the G6 PA1 service. the routing is as follows:
Bremerhaven – Antwerp – UK – Norfolk – Philadelphia – New York – Halifax – Bremerhaven
